IHHP is a Bible-believing, Spirit-led, Christ-centred church family in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Our vision is making HIS PRESENCE known and felt in all the earth — engaging every godly means, avenue, opportunity, and human resource to make His Presence known and felt in every segment of human existence, in every sphere of human endeavour, to every man in every place.
Our mission is to raise a people of His presence — by His presence, with His presence, in His presence, for His presence. We gather every week to worship, to learn, to confess, to celebrate, and to send each other back into the world a little more like Jesus than when we came.

We Believe
In the divine trinity of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
That Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.
That He was born of a virgin.
That He came to show man a new way / divine order of living for God, above sin.
That He was betrayed, crucified and died for our sins.
That He resurrected from the dead to give man victory over sin, sickness and Satan.
In the authority in the name of Jesus.
That He sent His Holy Spirit as a vital part of the divine Trinity, to be resident with and in the believer, for supernatural living on the earth.
That He is coming back again to take the believers (the church) away and to judge the world in righteousness.
In divine healing by the finished works of Jesus Christ — in healing by His stripes.
In tithes and offerings as free-will gifts to God through the local assembly.
In ministering to, giving to and supporting the poor, sick, destitute, prisoner, less privileged, etc.
In the gathering of the saints, the church for worship, divine service and encouragement.
In the scattering of the saints into every sphere of human life and activity, with the intent to witness, establish God's Kingdom and serve as ambassadors of Jesus Christ.
In the Holy Communion as a doctrine for the Disciples of Jesus Christ.
In water baptism.
The Word of God as the first and final authority on every issue of human life, by which every believer should live.
Tunji Akinola
Tunji Akinola is a Christian and a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been in pastoral ministry and Christian leadership for over three decades, planting and leading churches in Nigeria and across the diaspora.
His ministry expressions include leading churches, oversight functions over ministries, weekly television and radio broadcasts across Africa, social media engagements, book writing and publishing, weekly online prayer ministry, conference speaking in Nigeria and the diaspora, Christian initiatives in tertiary institutions, and international missions work in Ghana — sending and supporting missionaries worldwide.
